I'm really struggling and actually probably gonna have to bounce back down to pro clubs I believe to get out of Q-school and get some initial enjoyment out of the game (but I'm going to keep working and keep practicing). Sony, this time, has made the DualSense controller a plug and play device for Windows 10/11 PC’s making it the go to PC controller for Gamers. Just wanted to see some input from the community. Unlike the DualShock 3 & 4 controllers not supporting Windows natively and requires software such as DS4Windows to emulate virtual game pads for it to work. I don't know if this has made the joysticks more sensitive than they are if I just plug it in straight USB or what. I don't know the technical nuances but it's basically a program that makes the PC think the DS4 is an xbox controller and therefore enables features such as vibrations/etc.ġ) First question is this okay to use in TGC Tours if no profile modifications are made.Īnd 2) Does anyone playing on PC use this and what are your results? I actually feel like I shoot slightly worse since I added the DS4 controller, it seems its harder to keep a straight swing plane (which is already hard enough for me). I feel like having the rumble at least lets you know where you've went "too far" on full powered shots or "too far" on underswings (say 80% swing strength). I switched a PS4 last release (within the last 2 months) and have shot better but not having the vibration for at least test swings is hard and seems like a disadvantage for me with PS4. Pro controller is unchecked by default This is the reason why it doesn't work. Here you can select all the controllers you want to be recognized by DS4Windows. I've noticed however that I don't get any vibration or rumble feedback with the PS4 controller because it is not a default microsoft device. Go to SETTINGS tab in DS4Windows (Make sure you have the latest version possiblle, 2023 not the 2016 version) In settings tab. Some of the guys I stream with and see on stream swear by using a PS4 controller. I have both a retail XB1 and PS4 (not aftermarkets). I searched but didn't see an answer, so sorry if this has been covered but I could not find it. Connect the DualSense with a cable and wait for it to show up in the Controllers Tab from DS4Windows.
